Title: Winter vs Summer coat?

Hey, I am first time cocker owner, and I am interested do they get thicker coats in the winter? How different is your cocker fur in winter vs summer?

Hi,
I am no expert, but Salty seems to not shed a lot at all, so I guess his summer and winter coats are very similar?
Although we keep him shorn in Summer since its very hot here then, and I like the look of the working cocker coat look  :D
Then in autumn he goes through a curly woolly leggings look only because we cut less often and then we keep it a bit longer in winter but nowhere near show length
