NOt sure if this should be here or elsewhere. Sorry if I have got it wrong.
I have never made a claim before and I am confused.
We are wanting to claim for all the treatment so far for Buddy's lip fold infections.
4th July 2007 Bill for £40+ for consultation and antibiotics
20 Nov 2007 Bill for £50.+ for more of the same
29 Nov 2007 Bill for however much for the surgery he is having today.
I had originally asked at the vets if we could get them to claim direct, but now realise that if we do that then we lose out on the claim for the two earlier episodes. We didn't claim for those because we didn't know at that time that it would go on and on and on. I'm sure that must happen to lots of people.
Our policy has a £50 excess.
So what is the best way to do this?
In addition, Buddy is going to be sedated for removal of the sutures in a week or two.

Hi Annette, I would get onto the Insurance company as soon as and request a claim form, it all relates to the one type of incident so providing that there hasnt been a renewal date in between treatments then I am sure that you should be ok.
Who are you insured with ?

Sainsburys.
I already had the claim form, just needed some help deciding how to claim. But we haveit sorted now.
Boy, am I glad we are insured, it's nearly £700 so far!

We are experts at Insurance Claims....having had so many over the last 2 years >:(
We are always sending in continuation claim forms....and we have never had an issue with them being paid - we are with M&S.
We get the vet to fill in the details of the treatment tho - we just list the condition we are claiming for.
Cheers
