Thought I had better post a little boast for Ellie who flew round her agility course to gain a very exciting 4th AND her first rosette :P :P
Although it was only an inter club competition she was competing against border collies and dogs who are more experienced than her - only her 3rd competition!!! :P
Would post photos (she looks so cute with her ears flapping out beside her), but hubbie forgot the camera :x
-
Well done Ellie....sounds like she had some stiff competition there from the Collies  you must be very proud...hope she had something good for her tea as a reward :D
-
Congratulations Rosie. You have every right to feel proud. Trust hubbie to forget his camera eh? That's my favourite cocker look: when they're running and their ears are flapping! Well done to you both.
Loraine :)

Well done you two. Agility is great for cockers :D wish mine had enough brains to do it
-
Well done to both you and Ellie ! :D
Not so well done to the camera-less hubby !
-
That's brilliant news Rosie :D Well done to little Ellie & to you for doing the training  Tell Martin not to forget the camera next time!

Well Done Rosie and Ellie :D
That's usually what I do...leave the camera at home
I bet that rosette has pride of place :D
Tracey :)

:D Wow well done to both of you!!
You will have to take a piccie of the proud Ellie with her rossette and post it in the gallery :D
-
Hubbie is trying to redeem himself and has promised to take the camera along to training if it is not raining on Sunday :P :P
So hopefully should be able to post some piccie at the weekend
-
So which club in South Wales do you belong to (Caerphilly DAC?)
-
Yes, we must be made we travel from Rogerstone (Newport) to Caerphilly twice a week for training!! The things we do for our dogs!! :D
-
Just seen this, well done Ellie and Rosie! :D

To think people think I'm mad as I live in Cardiff and and don't have a car but hike up to Rockwood (which is next door to Caerphilly DAC) for dog training.
Congrats anyway.
We're going along to the agility comp show in May(?) just to watch (an ex foster BC of mine might be competing from the Midlands) and hope the weathe ris better than last years.
-
Ellie and I will be at the show in May also :D
I'll be the one with the tiny tiny cocker (see picture) that everyone thinks is still only a puppy!!
I am also hoping for better weather - not so much fun running round a field in the pouring rain (plus the increased risk that you could easily end up on your backside

Was out on a walk with another Caerphilly DAC member last weekend on wet and windy Oxwich Beach (Gower). Do you know Tracy who competes with her border terrier Toby.
-
Hi Penny
Yes I know Tracy and Toby - am now in their team for the Wye Valley competition. oby is really good - hope Ellie gets that good some time
Managed to post piccies in the photo gallery under parti-colours - bit blurry though - Hubbie said she moves too fast :D
