Hi
We are busy planning for our Centenary shows next year and I wondered whether anyone had any suggestions of gifts that we could give to all entries to mark this occasion.
(MOD's sorry if in the wrong place)

What about a silver cocker spaniel brooch/ tie-pin or something like that? Or an engraved/ printed glass. I guess it depends on budget...

What about a special pin badge to celebrate your societies cenenary if you look on the Home Counties Cocker Club page www.homecountiescocker.org (History section) you will see a picture of a badge that was given to all members back in 1948.

When the Solid Colours Cocker Spaniel Association held their first championship show last October we gave a pen inscribed with the clubs name and logo.
Always useful to mark up your catalogue and I've seen them at different shows since, most recently Southern Counties a couple of weeks ago so people are hanging on to them. :shades:

For The Cocker Spaniel Club of Scotland Jubilee show we gave out lovely Parker roller ball pens with the club details and web address on.

Thanks for the ideas, I'm off to start searching ...

West of England Border Collie club (I know...not cockers) gave ringclips with the club logo on. I've seen a lot of people wearing them, so I think a most people who got them are finding them useful.
