Title: Sad News
Post by: *Jay* on June 13, 2004, 12:55:07 PM: As most of you will know, Brook has been quite ill with liver disease. Unfortunately, he started vomiting his water again this morning and looked miserable, so I took him to the out of hours vet where he went to sleep for the last time :cry: :cry: I've had him since I was 13 years old so am completely heartbroken :cry: I took him back to my own work so that Vegas and Dallas could see him and so that his ashes will come straight to us. Thank you all for the good wishes over the past couple of weeks - they have meant an awful lot.

There will be a time when you think about him and it won't hurt quite so much even though it may not seem so now. Words are so inadequate at times like these so chin up, be strong and take good care of yourself.

Post by: *Jay* on June 18, 2004, 02:54:57 PM: Sorry its taken me so long to come back to this post but I think its safe to say that I'm not dealing with the situation very well :cry: So before I get put on the happy pills, I would like to say a big thank you to everybody for all the good wishes in this post, pm's and emails. It really does mean a lot to me. His ashes came back today but I think I'll hold on to them for a bit before deciding what to do with them. I'll definitely be scattering some at the beach next time we are down as he loved going there.
