Title: Any Shows In Lancashire This Weekend?

Hiya,

Was wondering if there are any dog shows in Lancashire this weekend?  Is Bolton Town Show on?  If so is anyone going and does anyone have any information on it?

Hiya,

I have just found out that the Bolton show has been cancelled due to bad weather  :(  apparently the dog show has been moved to Tonge Fold playing fields where the ground is firmer.

Not sure I can persuade OH to go to it now.  He gets bored after looking at dogs after an hour, whilst I could do it all day long.  :)

Alex,

I think it was decided on Wedensday to cancel.  The majority of the events seem to have been cancelled but the dog show is still being held (not sure if on both days or what now).  

However it is being held on Tonge Park which I believe is on Alexander Road, Bolton. sorry but I don't know any other details, I suggest that if you want more info that you call Steve Bailey on 01204 334070 (i think he is the organiser of the event).

I am so glad I looked on the internet for more information otherwise it could have been a wasted a journey, although i could have dragged OH to Trafford Centre instead! :)

i have just phoned steve bailey and the show will be sighn posted to the new venue whitch is not far away, it is still leverhulme park but on the tonge park end. so anyone who is worrying please don't . only the dog show is going to be held .

harley did not get placed in his puppy class, he was up against some good compition , but he got 2nd av gundog puppy which i was happy about as he is only just 6 months. we are at lancaster next monday so fingers crossed for that.

Well done to Shaz (it was a very large puppy class) you really did turn Harley out very well!
Well done to Sue, who won Limit cocker, with Paris :D . And... I think I saw you and Sonny with a 1st in the either av. gundog or varieties :) .
Yes I was chuffed with my ickle man  ;) , especially after the group (as group 1, had won a Res CC at a breed show the week before :lol: )
And Michelle….Abby is looking LOVELY – gud luck with her :D  :D !!!
Gud luck to all goin to Welsh Kennel Club 2day!...off to work now  :rolleyes: .

Thanks Nikki, Yes Sonny got 1st in Av Gundaog and Av PG, Paris got Ist in limit, so not a bad day all in all. Nice meeting everyone again :D
