Title: Insurance...good News!
Post by: Mary on September 17, 2004, 12:49:50 PM
I have just received my pet insurance renewal notice through from Marks & Spencer.  I was quite surprised to see that not only have my premiums gone down but the benefits have improved too along with many of the policy limits increasing. :o  :D

Last year I payed £11.15 per month and I'm now paying £8.70 ;)

I'm well impressed so far but have never (touch wood ;) ) made a claim

That's good news Mary!  Well done!!  How old is Lottie by the way?  I'm wondering whether Woody's premiums will go down when he gets to a certain age.  He's insured through the Kennel Club and I think it's about £20 a month ...not the cheapest certainly but we felt a good policy for what we required.

Mary, I too was very surprised when M&S renewed Piper's insurance.

Used to pay £13.90 or something like that and now pay £9.50  :o   Fantastic, specially considering the amount I claimed last year - and the fact that it will be a lifelong claim.

Long may this continue  ;)

Lottie will be 2 on Tuesday Jo ;)

I've no idea what they are like at settling claims but Louise has claimed and sounds rather pleased with them ;)

Kelly, I have had no problems at all with them.

I do have to pay up front at my vets but the cheques are paid straight away and there has never been any quibbling (spelling?) :D
