This is just an advance notice to let you know that in about a week's time we will be doing some admin work on the forum which will delete all members who joined more than a year ago but have not yet posted (ie zero post count). We appreciate that many new members like to browse the forum for quite a while to get to know how it works before contributing which is why anyone who joined within the last 12 months but hasn't yet posted will remain as members. If anyone doesn't fall into this category and hasn't posted but would like to remain a member, please could you just make at least one post anywhere on the forum (it doesn't have to be a long post, just something somewhere :D). We apologise for having to do this but regretfully it is necessary in order to keep the forum running smoothly and to maintain the integrity of the database.
Thank you :D

Sorry to be thick but are replies to other posts counted as a post or do we need to start a new one?
Thanks

It's only members who have never ever posted that need to make a post somewhere ( they can put it here if they like) - you'll be OK.
-
Thanks for the warning, is this a one off or will non posters have to post at least once every year?
-
We'd maybe hope that once non-posters take the plunge and make their first post, they'll want to make others but we will review the situation at a later date :D

Not sure if I've ever posted but now I have!

Sorry for not posting before, when I joined I did have a beautiful cocker, but we lost her 2 years ago when she was 17 yrs old, this site has really helped me over the last 2 years, but I felt awkward about posting anything as I dont have a dog now.

Thanks for posting suvern & madison & please don't feel awkward about joining in even if you don't currently have a dog - this site is for everyone who's interested in Cockers whether they own one or not :D

This thread is 2.5 years old now, so no longer relevant! ;)
If there is another sort out of non-posting members, I am sure Admin will let us all know
