Title: Pinnacle Pet Insuranc Versus Greenbee/AXA
Post by: Robbie34 on September 20, 2010, 10:31:31 AM
Has anyone got experience of Pinnacle Pet Insurance?  It looks like a toss up between Pinnacle and Greenbee/AXA.  These appear ro be the best lifelong policioes availavle.

I also checked on Pet Protect and Petguard, but they don't seem to be part of well known insurers.  I won't use M&S for Henry as my experience with them for Charley was dire.  When he was ten they increased the premium to £579, and I also had to pay an excess of £70 plus 20% of the remainder.

We are with Axa and I really can't fault them, each year our premiums have gone down, policy terms have not been changed like some of the other insurers have and claims have been paid direct to the vets so all we have had to pay is the excess.  No idea on the others though....

I did a shop around recently and went with Sainsburys, which seemed pretty competitive

Just insured Henry with John Lewis - AXA.  Lifetime policy with vet's fees of £10,000 per annum; £19.09p per month.
