Sometimes its a empty stomach
One of mine used to do this unless he had a biscuit before bed

Was it before breakfast? Dogs have a very acidic stomach which can cause sickness if the tum is empty.

Yes, Ozzy does this too sometimes - empty stomach!  We give him a Bonio now at bedtime.  There are loads of threads on here about it, it seems to be a very common problem.

I thought it was an empty stomach with Riley, until he brought up a piece of bark,
he was bringing up bile every night, during the night.
On the 5th night he brought up a piece of bark. He hasnt brought up the bile since. I do give him a couple of lilys kitchen biccies before bed, but dont know if its that or if its because of the bark in his tummy.
