Results???

This section is very "quiet" these days! Have you all stopped going to shows or are you all getting tired of posting your results? I'm sure it's not only me who likes to see who's been showing and winning!!

Yes sadly Facebook has taken over when it comes to sharing show results - people are always welcome to share them here too as not everyone wants to be on FB (I joined reluctantly)

Yes on profiles but also a lot of the breed clubs have their own groups/pages where results are posted.

I'm no fan of Facebook having listened to folk upset by gossip and sometimes quite nasty comments. For my own part I took no pleasure in having to admonish someone who had made some unpleasant comments about mine and other peoples cockers- comments they wouldn't make face to face! But there you go, some will say I'm old fashioned. I'll just have to watch out for my dog papers.

I think it's sad they don't get posted on here, so much to be honest. I like FB, but will agree it is deffo a double edged sword. A lot are posted on there, but not all. I think some folk have actually stopped posting altogether, which is very sad. I like to read results and congratulate winners. We haven't been to many opens lately and champs are on Foss, Higham & breed club sites in general, so this is why I haven't posted them really. Jenny has just posted the results from the show we were at Yest now. Maybe we should all make the effort to post on here again. It is nice for them all to be in one place for all to see I think.

The problem with facebook is once the results are posted they get swallowed up within people's timeline and lost :-(

The thing that really annoys me is when people post the results but all they put is the exhibitors name...so you have to guess which dog it was that won. I know sometimes it's obvious but it just reinstates the whole judging the person and not the dog for me

I've just nipped on because I too use fb. If we go to any open shows I will post results on here as well from now on x

I agree results have got lost on facebook with all the notifications, etc. Lets all make an effort to post results like we used too.
