Truffle is with Petplan's lifecover/budget plan, she is now 6yrs old, had no claims for her since she was 2. The monthly fee was £18 when a new pup, last year was £28.94 monthly and the new renewal which came today is £30.48. This also includes a £12 a year multi-pet and £12 a year Pensioner discount (me, not her!)
I haven't had Darcey's renewal yet, she is a flatcoat, 4 years old and last year was £29.73 a month. Both have  gone up roughly £2 a month each, every renewal.
It's a minefield isn't it, all insurances. They've got you whatever way you turn.

Misty is with pet plan and I pay £22.88 which has been the same since I started in sept 2011. It's pet plan classic covered for life.  No claims so far.

We're with Animal Friends and, for a £7k lifetime policy, Chaz was £190 when we got him this time last year. No claims thank goodness and I've just paid his renewal for the coming year at £207-84. (equivalent to £17-32/month)

Bob.

WOW  >:( they really have us by the ......(add your own words here) don't they. I went with Petplan as they gave me two months free if I continued after the 4 weeks free ran out.

Funnily enough when I registered Minstrel in my name, KC automatically had pop-up to their insurance page, so if you do yours online be aware  ;)
