BBC 1 programme on Insurance today
« on: April 30, 2014, 11:34:37 AM »
Anyone else see this?

Think it's called "Don't get done, get Dom!" Or similar.

Beautiful springer spaniel called Archie was the star....programme highlighted the perils of changing pet insurance and that all policies they looked at have the same clause which effectively means no claims can be made for any condition identified in the first 10-15 days (depending on policy) - I.e. None were a full 12 month policy!

Should be available on iPlayer

(Mods, apologies if this is on the wrong board)

I watched it and the owner was very lucky that the company paid in full purely as a goodwill gesture.
Think that was because Dom took her case on on it was on TV.

All policies have that clause, as they say it's to stop fraud, so it 's one of those things that is accepted when you take out pet insurance. They do cover for injury and accident but not illness so in one way they are covering for the full year but not for everything  :dunno:
