Is this too much?
« on: January 06, 2016, 04:46:56 PM »
Hello, just had Mollie's Insurance renewal through and just wondered how it compares to others around the same age.  I know it's all to do with postcodes too but it does seem high?  Mollie is age 4 and I've made one claim (poisoning - eating ibruprofen tablets).  She has £9000 lifetime cover and I'm being quoted £31 p.m. Thank you.

Sounds about right I think - pet insurance increases aren't related to individual claims (pets I haven't claimed for have same increases as everyone else) but usually related to the market and some suck you in with cheap insurance for it then to increase 100-200% by which time you've claimed and don't want to move

Sounds normal to me. I pay that on PetPlan for Daisy and we've never claimed. She's two.
