About
At Cockersonline we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors and forum members. We don’t sell or share email addresses to other companies or third parties and never have. In order to comply with GDPR we’ve put together this Privacy Policy.
In short we only collect from you a username, an email address and a password. These three things allow you to create an account on the forum and post on the forum. Your username is publically visible, your email address can be hidden and your password is always encrypted and stored in a non-readable manner.

Cookies
We place a small Cookie on your computer when you log in to the forum, this enables the forum to remember you for next time you visit. You can prevent this from happening by adjusting the settings on your browser if you wish to do so, but you will have to log in manually every time.

Analytics
When someone visits www.cockersonline.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Stored Information
Your username and password are stored on a database on the server. The passwords are encrypted. Email addresses are stored as plain text but are stored in a secure fashion and password protected.

Mailing Lists
We don’t use any mailing list or newsletter services or features.

Third Parties
We share no data with third parties.

Access
Under the new GDPR rules you have a right of access to your data, you may therefore request to see or amend your data. To do this you can view your profile on the forum (this shows the information that’s stored on the database, in other words, what you can see, we can see too, apart from your password which is encrypted.)
You always have a right to be ‘forgotten’, on a working forum this means data deletion, you can request your account be deleted any time, this will mean however that you can no longer use the discussion forum.
If you wish to change any of the information we hold about you simply email info@cockersonline.co.uk

Donators
For those kind people who donate to the forum, as you know your donations are handled by PayPal, you can read their Privacy Policy in full here:

Changes
We will periodically review this Policy (usually every year.)
