Have to say I was disappointed with Ben, at one point he referred to the winner of the Pastoral group as a 'she' when it's a dog.
Unless he was reading from the autocue he fluffed his lines, and even though he was wearing his glasses I found the way he squinted at the camera annoying.

Let's just hope it was first day nerves   ::)

Here here Michele I'm afraid I have to agree with you and say that I too was disappointed with Mr Fogle  :'( :'(  He also came out with some other comment about the Australia Shepherd which was totally wrong.   The squinting was annoying and he looked so nervous not like him at all.  Fingers crossed that after he sees me tomorrow his nerves will go  ;) :-* :-*

I wasn't impressed by Mr Fogle either, but I was going to givehim the benifit of the doubt before I said anything but what the hell!! I was a little embarrised for him at points! Firstly when he was calling the bitch a dog and then when he said "and that all from me and this erm Austrailn (pause) er dog from California........" Clearly he couldn't remeber what breed the dog was...oooops sligh faux pas!!

CRINGE CRINGE CRINGE, hope it was just nervous  :-\

I'm so glad I'm not the only one to be unimpressed with Mr Fogle. Very disappointing. But the dogs more than make up for it and his little talky bits gave me a chance to go make another cup of tea  :005:

 :lol:Give him a chance you guys ;), it must be very daunting doing a live show and having to remember what type of dog it is, its name and whether its a he or she :-\   Not that i'm sticking up for him or anything, but he could never get on my nerves :005: :luv:

Looking forward to tonights show especially Basset hounds and Ben Fogle, what more can a girl ask for :005: :luv:

Well I have to say he annoyed the hell out of me - I turned over in the end!!  He did the best impression of a nodding dog I've ever seen  :005: :005:  It took me all day to remember who he reminded me of - Charming from Shrek 2 (think he may even have had the cherry flavoured gloss  ph34r)  not impressed at all - he's not like that on Animal Park
Sarah & The Roan Rangers - Daisy Dog & Dill Boy

The average dog has one request to all humankind. Love me

BRING BACK RICHARD HAMMOND!!!

Yes - defintely. He may be short and has not got such interesting hair as BF (I like sticky up hair...) but he's much more natural and seems to know loads more. But then I've only had a dog for 2 months so who am I to throw eggs ::)

I fell in love with the Otterhound. Not seen one before and I love hairy dogs (we had a bearded collie as kids). :luv:
