If it were me, I would enter classes 1 & 2. With class 3 he would be up against dogs a fair bit older than him although if you were braver than me, you could still enter him for the experience ;)

I've only done the one show so I'm not the best person to give you advice but just wanted to wish you both good luck
Dallas ( 10) & Disney ( 9 )

Playing at the Bridge: Brook (13/06/04), Jackson (23/12/05) & Vegas (14/07/10)

I agree with Gill - 2 classes are plenty if it's your first show so just stick to the puppy classes to begin with and have fun :D

Wow! How exciting!  Henry and I have done a few small shows now and it's very addictive!  Be warned tho - it's quite nerve-racking for the first few times! I found it quite amusing, because I have quite a stressful job, which I don't get nervous about, yet I worried SO much about my first show!

I think I'd enter Classes 1 & 2 - Good practice if nothing else!

Good Luck!

Bella did her first show yesterday, at the world famous and internationally renowned Thornton Fete and Dog Show!! OK, its a school fete!

But we were surprised how seriously it was being taken. People were there with crates and grooming tables and all sorts.

We entered Bella into AV Puppy class. There were about 20 entries and she came fifth, and got a lovely pink rosette for her efforts! And she was the only cocker out of four to win anything so we were really pleased with her.

I have to admit it was daunting though. OH was more nrevous than Bella!
