Bowood Dog and Country Show

Bit late notice, I know! I've just been so busy at work!

Tomorrow, there is a charity Dog and Country show at Bowood House (Just outside Chippenham, Wiltshire) which looks like a really fun day out.  There are Pedigree show classes, as well as family classes and all dogs are welcome. 

There are lots of other things on, like:

Fun Gundog Scurry
Canine agility and gymkhana
RAF Police Dogs
Falconry
Ferret Racing (!)
Camel and Pony rides

OH, Henry and I will be taking a picnic if the weather holds up!  I know there are a few COLers in the area.  Anyone else going?

Tempting...but I don't think we'll be able to come as although it's very close, the public transport is non-existent in that direction!

We are at Bowood in a couple of weeks to see cars (OH's idea not mine!) but this sounds much more fun, will try and get along if we can.

Thanks for the offer Ally , that's really sweet of you, but we've also got a lot on this weekend so haven't really got time. We're going camping middle of next week & need to do some sorting out, plus Kev's got a change over in the gallery so needs to get ready for that. Everything happening at once!

Did anyone go?  We didn't risk it as it forecast thunderstorms here.  Good job we didn't as the rain came down just like buckets of water here

We didn't go either, as poor Henry had picked up a nasty tummy bug and refused to come out from under the table!  A few friends went and said that, despite the rain, it was a good day out.  I'm a bit upset that I missed seeing yummy Ben Fogle!
