Shame the judges didn't agree that Maudie and Norris were the best in their classes, we thought they were  :D

Was nice to meet you, maybe see you around Yeovil and maybe at some of the companion shows, will have to do some practising with Bracken first...

Was nice to meet you to Em just hope I wasnt rude I was a little stressed lol! Bracken is lovely would be good to have a meet at Ham Hill one day!

Sound's like you're glad it's all over! ;)

I am sure it wasn't as bad as you say. And at least next time you'll know what to expect!

It was OK I wouldnt say enjoyable lol Maudie got reserve....... out of 4 LMAO the judge didnt seem impressed HAHA never mind! As for next time erm no hun never a next time. Companion shows we can cope with but really the show scene isnt us. But its not everyones cup of tea and I have a lot of respect for the people that do it all of the time. We had a lovely day after though Maudie and Norris got wet and muddy as we looked around the show they were in their element!!! :005:

Well we thought Maudie and Norris were both lovely  :luv: (maybe the judges glasses were steamed up from the rain?  :005:) and it was nice to put faces to names too  ;)

Cookie liked Maudie too (which is much better than her barking at sheepskin rugs which is what she spent the rest of the afternoon doing  ph34r) and Beau just liked the stands where people dropped cheese and bits of sausage and wanted to race between them to check on the 'pickings'  ::)

I do have two very very quiet dogs tonight though so I'm not complaining really  ;)

I think you're well brave! I'm well stressed about even thinking about entering Ruby in a family dog show!  ::)

Glad you had a good day other than the showing!  ;)  I'm sure Maudie loved all the attention she got, though!

Looking at the results, I've just realised that Ruby's litter sister, Alice was placed first in her class.  :D

A meeting at Ham Hill would be great, we'll have to have a mini COL meet up one weekend.

Tracey it was lovely to meet you and Vicky and of course Maudie :luv: and Norris :luv:.  Shame the weather was so awful in the morning, I had to buy flippin wellies as my shoes gave up with the mud!

Hi Tracey
Sorry we didn't make it on Wednesday after all - the weather was just too horrendous and MIL was not impressed with the idea - she kept commenting how it would be just a bigger version of Monday at Sherborne Castle.
Still it was great to meet you and yours - Maudie is adorable!
We have to take Buffy to the vets today as she hurt her leg on Monday - we took her to the local vet on Tuesday and she is on Metacalm.  Will let you know later how we get on!
Maybe next time we are down your way, we will meet at a companion show again.  How did your son do in the junior handling on Monday?
Penny and Buffy
Penny,   Dexter (cavalier x poodle), Alfie (Whippet cross)  and  Maximus the cocker spaniel!!

RIP my 2 most gorgeous cocker girls - Buffy and Harriet - both waiting for me at the bridge. Joined by my beloved Josie taken too soon and Suki aged 13 :(
