Congratulations Jane, Andrew !!!! ;D and Ruby the batgirl for winning the Bitch CC at Driffield today. You must be  sooo proud and I believe all our COL members are very happy for you too and RUBY!!!

Just trying to explain to Otis 8) that Ruby :-* is still the same colour that she's always been and that she didn't win the ticket because she's going black ::) silly boy ;D

Wow you were quick off the mark there Alexander ;D Thanks for the congrats guys - much appreciated :) Ruby says thanks too - or she will when she wakes up (currently sleeping it off on the sofa ;))

Well done to Susan too on Sonny's good placing :) Incidentally Sonny's class was interesting as it was won by an undocked sable dog (one of the imports I mentioned the other day on another thread) so a bit of breed history was made today!

And a very special well done to Sonny and Susan, I have met Sonny and he is ADORABLE!!!

Jane, just a quick note on the undocked sable you said made history, i'm very curious to know was is the colour or the fact it had a tail that was unsual or a bit of both???

Well done all of you hope you treated yourselves to a nice glass of your fave tipple and the doggies got a well earned treat too ;D

Well it is unusual to see an undocked Cocker in the show ring (though there are a few) but the history bit was that this is the first sable to win a first at a UK Championship show.

Don't think there are any big shows coming up your way. The nearest would be Midland Counties Ch Show at the Stafford Showground on October 23, then Rotherham Cocker Club Ch Show on November 29th at Barnsley. Another big show which will get a good entry (& has lots of shopping opportunities!) is LKA at Birmingham NEC on December 13.
