Oooh, I live in Liverpool, so this is only about 15 mins away from me. I too have never been to a show I may pop along with the hubby and try to meet some of you and your pooches. Can anyone tell me the etiquette at shows, I too dont wanna 'show' myself up 

Don't worry, it is usually the people with the dogs that get "shown" up As I said before, try not to disturb people who are trimming, or about to go in the ring and you can't bring your own pooches unless they are entered.  The show is in doors so go careful if taking pic's of dogs in the ring as the flash will disturb the judge and dogs! and it is usually better to ask the owners permission anyway.

Could anyone advise me of the best time to get there on Saturday? I see showing begins at 10, what time does it open to the public?

Show opens at 9  am but judging doesn't start until 10 am for Bitches and 10.30 for dogs.  Get there anytime.  Give me a shout if you need to know anything else I will be around from very early

Im going to try and get there around 11ish.

Im mainly going to meet some breeders as Im looking to get a show type pup next year 
But how is this done.....if I fall in love with one of the bitches being shown, do you just ask the owner if they breed, or planning a litter 
Is that a little bit nosey???

Most cocker folk are friendly and happy to chat about their dogs, just be mindfull though not to hold them up if they need to get their dogs ready for the next class. Good luck
