Just to help your daughter out.....people hold their cockers differently at the head depending on how the cocker behaves on the table. some just hold the lips, some slot fingers into the 'crook' of the jaw line. others don't need to as their dogs pose anyway (lucky b****rs) if she is going to ringcraft class, no-one is going to expect her to be pro handler....she is putting herself under alot of pressure, it is supposed to be fun. she knows the dog best, she will figure out the bet way to stack the dog. thats tha best advice really...
