.........we've only had our Sammy 4 weeks today and he's just 13 weeks old, and golden & he's our 1st ever dog, so hearing this has made me aware of how they can behave. Ours is so lively it's untrue. We just don't a a minute's peace, apart from when he's asleep. He wants 110%+ :!: I've read so much on this site since we found it this week, it really has opened our eyes. Never knew anything about cockers, just knew I liked the look of them. We just can't get him to have a lead on at the minute, he's dying to get out, but he's just had his 2nd jab today, so another 10-14 days and maybe a little walk up our street. Luckily we are in a quiet cul-de-sac. Will take it a little bit at a time till he gets the confidence (me really) :wink: .
