Unfortunately I'm busy that day, or I would have come.  NKOTB concert  ph34r
Dogs are natural optimists and believe if they stare hard enough and long enough, the icing on the cake could be theirs.

Just a reminder that the Cocker Spaniel Club of Scotland will be holding a Breed Seminar (Hands on - required criteria for the judges B List) presented by David Shields on the 18th January 2009 at Calderbank Community Centre, Calderbank, Nr Airdrie, Lanarkshire.

For those not ready to sit the hands on test, there will be a hands on teach 'in, which will give candidates an opportunity to go over various exhibits with guidance. There will also be a trimming workshop which will not only be aimed at show trimming but also to give people guidance in learning to trim their own dogs. Guidance will be led by some long standing breed specialists, Wilma Reid (Shanaz), Elizabeth Maclean (Lynwater) who will be on hand to give advice and possibly some of their trimming secrets. Please remember if you want to take part in the trimming session you must bring your own dog and equipment, ie table, scissors etc. Although if you don't want to bring a dog you will be still be able to ask advice etc.

It has been 4 years since the club held such a seminar so please take this opportunity to come along. We hope that this day out will be of an advantage to all Cocker Spaniel enthusiasts at all levels.

Application forms can be downloaded from the clubs website http://www.cockerspanielclubofscotland.co.uk/Show%20Diary.htm

With the holiday period over I felt it was appropriate to remind people if they are interested in attending there are a few places left.
