Hi Michelle

There is no rule against showing undocked dogs. Your best bet would be to join a local ringcraft class where you & Ben will learn all the basics of what's required in the show ring. You could try contacting the Isle of Wight Canine Association who do run ringcraft classes according to their website at http://freespace.virgin.net/iow.ca/

If Ben is over 6 months old, you could also try going to some fun-type Companion shows if you can find any locally - these are informal family day out type shows & you can turn up on the day to enter. If you enjoy ringcraft classes & Companion shows, you can then think about entering some more formal shows (although there are not that many held on the Isle of Wight). This site might be useful for details of Companion shows:http://www.geocities.com/companion_dog_shows_uk/

Hope that helps get you started :)
