Just noticed that Sandie's Wesley won the Puppy Dog Stakes at WKC - well done :D Did he win overall for the day (Higham never gives the overall winners for some reason)

Thanks for the kind words Jane.

Wesley did win the Purina puppy dog stakes, but unfortunately he did not become the overall winner for the day.

I was very surprised that he won to be honest, as he has been very unsettled since Aimee has the puppies and has become very clingy towards me. Hopefully he will get over this with time. What didn't help is that he stayed over at Gill Rees' house last night so that might have unsettled him to.

By all accounts he acted like a hooligan in the breed class. Think he decided that he wanted to walk on two legs instead of four today  :(

But still, I am a very proud mummy again today  :D He had such a bad start to life, I am so glad he had put all his little troubles behind him and is taking to the show ring. This is what makes me love him all the more    :D

Sandie, Aimee and Wesley xx

You have every right to be proud Sandie - it's not easy to win a Stakes class as the competition is always hot ;) I'm sure Wesley will settle back down again given time - boys can be clingier & more sensitive than the girls sometimes & his hormones are probably all over the place with his age (just think what teenage boys are like )
