There are usually a few Cockers in rescue, but most of them have minor problems and require another dog at home and to have the new owner at home most of the day. However, they do sometimes get one handed in that has no issues and can be rehomed as an only dog, but they will be snapped up fast. Best bet is to register your details with lots of rescue places and be prepared to wait.
