Confused about dog insurance
« on: December 09, 2009, 04:04:56 PM »
When we got Tally she came with 8 weeks free insurance from the Kennel Club, which I took up until we researched the right insurance for her. This is coming to an end shortly.

My lab is with MoreThan and they have been great and paid up quickly when he is sick. Unfortunately when we got him, he was on an annual policy (rather than a lifetime one) with another company, and had bad panosteitis and arthritis as a pup which is now excluded from any policy. Given that an arthroscopy could cost thousands, this is a real issue! Anyway.

I'd heard good things about M&S insurance, so just went to get a quote and their Premier one is £15 a month for Tally, but it says 'annual' fee - does this mean it's not lifetime cover? Arghhh, I'm so confused!

Thanks

Sophie
