Insurance

Wow.... what a minefield this insurance lark is!  ::)

Just looking at some quotes for Maisie. She is covered for a month at the moment with Petplan and I have a number to phone to get a full quote. Doing it on line though I've been given a quote of around £20 a month.

Cheapest I've found so far is HSBC with around £9.50 a month. Argos was also quite good at around £11.
Dearest is with AXA for a staggering £48 a month!!!!..... think they got my postcode confused  :005:  :005:

Done a few and most come in at around the £15/25 a month.

These quotes are all on the Annual £7000 cover a year.

I did look at Pet-insurance but was put off by really bad reviews when googled

Got a couple of weeks to muse it over and I guess like most things.... ya pays yer money and takes yer chance  ;)

you could try Healthy Pets - costs me £25 for 3 dogs on their silver scheme, which isn't too bad

Alfie is with Greenbee, £14 something a month i think. We paid the annual one and it came to just under £170. So not too bad ;) xxx

It is a minefield, the key things to take into account for me are.

Is the £7000 per year paid for each condition or the total amount you can claim ?

Also is it for life cover ? ie if she got an ongoing illness would it be covered for life or just for that year and then excluded?

I'm also with Greenbee  ;)
