We had a very enjoyable day too :D

Maria (rubydoo) went to the show with me, which helped to keep Louis happy because he adores Maria, which helped me to be a lot more relaxed than when I'm on my own, so thanks Maria :clapping:

Louis behaved better than he's ever done at a show so far :luv:. He didn't bark much, behaved himself around other dogs (no growling or gnashing of teeth) and generally behaved quite well in the ring, bouncy but not too over the top. He was Reserve in Any Other Colour Novice, 2nd in Special Yearling and 2nd in Novice so we came home with 2 blue rosettes :D

It was lovely to see so many other COLers. We said hello to aliceandlouis, sarahphillips (well done Pebble), bracken, Jane S and her OH whose name I've forgotten (sorry), 6th sense and doctorwho.

Well done to Michele and also to Tracey and Chelsea :clapping: :clapping:

Hope I haven't forgotten anyone.

Well both Neala and Lizzy are also totally shattered after today.  :luv: :luv: We didn't bring any rossettes home but did have VHC with Neala and a 3rd for Lizzy which I'm very pleased with, there were a lot of very good dogs there.

As others have said it's lovely to see so many other COL members at this show, looks like everyone had a very satisfying day  :D

Oh and the cake was yummyyyyyyyyyy  :lol2:

2 more shattered poochies here. They always are after a show. It's all the concentration on behaving themselves. It's hard work you know.  :shades: :005: My boys did me proud anyway with 4 3rds and 2 2nds between them.  :D Always a fab show, so friendly and always fab food. I always do this show. Congrats to all placed. Some great results today.

Jane if you got a 3rd you should have got a rosette. If you didn't get one in your class they were going round giving them out afterwoulds. I think they hadn't arrived or something initually. If you didn't get one you may still be able to claim it.

West Of England is such a great club, so friendly.

Today was Billie and my first show, everyone was so welcoming :luv: and tolerant, even when we needed an emergency mop-up in the ring :embarassed:.

Billie managed a VHC and a Third (yes we got a rosette, it has pride of place on the wall of my office right now) but they weren't huge groups so I'm not planning Crufts quite yet :005:

I know I met fellow COL'ers at the show, but I'm sure I missed many.
Maybe we need our own ring clip with COL and space for forum name?

Huge thank's to the organisers for making me feel so welcome :clapping:; today and at the "beginners" seminar.
