Jr member /full member - what is the difference?
« on: February 05, 2011, 08:27:43 PM »
Hi
I've noticed my membership comes up as JR member when others are full members. What does this mean please? have I not completed something I should have? thanks  :luv:

COL has a system of star ratings for members based on post counts as follows:-

Newbie (1 star)
Junior Member  50 posts (2 stars)
Full Member  100 posts (3 stars)
Senior Member 250 posts (4 stars)
Hero Member  500 posts (5 stars)

Posts on Anything Goes don't count towards these ratings so if you post a lot on this board but less elsewhere, your post count won't go up as much as you might expect.

Glad someone asked that Ive been wondering this to.  ph34r
Do the stars work differently though - For instance Happygal is a junior member but has 6 stars whereas Victoria25 is a Hero member with less stars?  - Is it that the stars include anything goes posts perhaps? :-\

The stars should go by post count - I can only see 2 stars on Happygal's profile and Victoria has 5

There is a migraine forum on here too and if you join that you get more stars under the 'COL' ones which is why some people have two rows of them.

She did have 2 rows but the bottom 4 seem to have vanished!

Good thread

This post should make me a Hero member    and give me 5 stars. going to hit the post button and see.

Just looked at some old membereds profiles. One person had joined in 2006 and posted 24 posts and not posted again. She had 4 stars so do stars also go on how long you have been a member
