For those that are not on email updates this was sent out yesterday:

Dear Customer,

It has come to our attention recently that a small number of customers have received deliveries where the trays have been unsealed, or broken, or both.

Upon investigation, we have now discovered that yet again we were sent a batch of incorrect trays, and it is these which appear to have become damaged in transit.

We have therefore taken the following action:

1.         A company-wide memo has been sent by our courier, City Link, to all their depots informing them of this problem, and stressing the importance of our parcels being handled with care.
2.         All parcels will be marked fragile.
3.         The tray manufacturer will be replacing any stock of our trays which are incorrect as soon as possible, meaning that all future production should not be affected.
4.         All deliveries going out after Monday will be double-trayed.

Please be assured that we are doing everything in our power to provide the best service and product we possibly can to our customers.  Our foods are ALWAYS intact and sealed before they leave our factory, and checked before packaging.  Therefore whilst there may be some ice within the trays and even some freezer burn, this will have occurred naturally after the food was sealed, and the quality of the product is not affected in the least.

If you have experienced any problems with your deliveries, please notify us as soon as possible so that we may do all we can to put things right.  Your custom is very important to us.
