Hi There
We popped along for a couple of hours this afternoon and I was amazed at how may ickle cockers were collected together in one room
I didnt have a clue what I was watching, I think I was expecting announcements of what was happening and what I was looking at but I guess everyone else knew just me who didnt
I saw groups of doggies in the ring being walked, looked at by the judge and walked again. Then 5 were selected and rosettes were given out.
I couldnt tell if the pooches were boys or girls and I expect some of the classes were mixed aswell as some being same sex classes.
Didnt spot many from Cockers Online I dont think but I did see Chelsea and her mum and their beautiful dogs and Andrew who I think had Siani with him (she is beautiful too)
What was most apparent to me tho was that my JessieCocker is a mammoth sized cocker when compared to the ones I saw today. She is a much loved pet and I wouldn't change her for the world but she is somewhat taller, wider and generally bigger allover (except for her head) than any of the doggies I saw today. Am hoping that moving to Burns will help her lose around a kg or maybe 2 tho lol
Didnt manage to stay until the end...the room was freezing ( and I was only there 2 hrs
don't know how the rest of you managed to keep warm enough to walk if you were there from 10ish) and I wasn't feeling too great anyway. We left around 3ish.
Would love to know who won....just out of interest lol....
I saw a lovely orange roan in the ring (only saw 3 in the room) and a beautiful blue roan and tan too, the majority were blacks then blue roans I think.
Hope everyone had a great day and that the wind here in Nottingham didnt make your journeys home too treacherous.
Cheers
Janey x
