Diesel & Olli get a couple of fish4dogs tiddlers, Vet suggested a snack before bed as Diesel was bringing up bile early hours of morning

I just chuck a few bits of kibble in Juno's crate and she's happy with that.  She also tends to throw up bile if she doesn't have a little to eat before bedtime.

How I would love to a coffee and a bedtime biccie all to myself. I have tried everything but they always know when I unwrap a biscuit even if they are upstairs. Hmm. >:(

Bedtime biscuits are given here too to stop Disney throwing up during the night.  Their favourites are chicken flavoured gravy bones and little dried fish things from Zooplus (can't remember what they are called but they still have their eyes which creep me out a bit!) so I tend to alternate between them.

Not so in Smudgie's case, he has a baby bonio (the really tiny ones) b4 bed and sleeps thro till 9 - or whenever I get up  ;) - like everything else it depends on your dog I guess.

My last cocker used to get 3 gravy bones (my parent's lab always got 3) but reduced it to 3 halves when we had to watch his weight when he was on steroids for kidney failure. When Alfie came along I decided to see how he would do with 1 puppy marrow bone biscuit and he was more than happy with that, and still is ( no bile in am). He also gets 1 when I go to work after breakfast. I got some of the Arden Grange salmon dog treats to try, but they're bigger than gravy bones so would only give half at a time.

They know when they have had that, the day is done and they take themselves off to bed  :005:
