I'm with greenbee (now John Lewis I think) for dennis, 7k cover. Last year we claimed  6.5k  due to MRI scans and surgery for slipped discs , the cost of keeping him in for 2 weeks after surgery( I think that was about £100 a night alone).

I never had a problem claiming from them and my renewal this year was less than a £1 increase. We still only pay £16 per month.

It's John Lewis I'm with too, Tia's has jumped up from £16 to £25.50 per month, with no claims - just because she will become "senior" in March. :-\

However, Dougie's went down by £2 when I informed them he was neutered, he is £18 per month.

M&S and AXA with £7000 per year. It sounds a lot, but when my lurcher had to have TPLO surgery (fix cruciate), broke a tooth and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism all in the same policy year, I was getting very close to that limit.  ;) So it's well worth having.

Diagnosis at primary vet: £800
MRI: £1100
TPLO surgery: £3500
Rehab (chiropractor and hydrotherapy): £400
Broken tooth: £600
Hypothyroidsm diagnosis and meds: £300

So that is nearly £7000 in that year.

Some other examples from this year:
Inhaled Grassseed on a Sunday: £490
Seriously damaged toe: £800
Removal of dewclaws and lump: £400
Diagnosis of degenerative disc disease: £3500
