6 month old puppy showing

Hi, just wanted to ask those of you that show,
 I am hoping to show my little man for a while. From the picture's below, what do I need to do ?, or should I contact a show groomer for a better finish
your comments would be most helpfull, His coat is through along his back.

  they are very alike, LB's grandfather is called teddy

awww hes lovely......im sorry, im not much help in the grooming dept im afraid as mine visit a show groomer who makes a beautiful job (much better than me)....but the one thing i did notice was that he is wearing a collar, does he wear this all the time ??... if so, you probably need to be taking it off unless he's going for a walk as it will kink his coat..xxx

Yo u will need too, go too a groomer who handstrips, or shows cockers, perhaps his breeder may be able to help you out, or his sire, as she shows her dogs, good luck it you lived up in Norfolk id be willing too help, might be worth having a chat too your local ring craft class as well, a grooming dvd is also available

Our angel's dad is powerscourt prelude. Have u asked chris for her opinion/advice? She did used to show and was really helpful to me when i first started. Good luck from us here. Xx
