Food Aggresion towards cat
« on: October 20, 2012, 04:08:05 PM »
Hi,

My 4 yr old girl Bree has a problem with food  >:D. She's fine when I put down her food for her, although she runs out the kitchen to make sure our elderly cat isn't about. She then feeds quite happily, then runs out and stands at the bottom of the stairs to make sure the cat isn't around (she gets fed half way up the stairs) I have to keep Bree in our front room, while I feed the cat otherwise she chases/terrorises her. Obviously I'd like to stop this jealously towards our cat, is there anything anyone can advise ?

She also has issues with being touched on her rear end/bottom, she growls at anyone who attempts to touch or stroke on this area. As there are a few young children in the family I'm a bit anxious about any child touching her and getting growled at. Is there anything I can do to change her behaviour ?

Would appreciate any help or advice on these problems  :-\

Thanks,

Daryl & Bree xx
