can anyone tell me why my 10 month old dogs are chewing carpets please.

Adolescent dogs go through a secondary teething phase, where there is a significant need to chew.  This was the age where Honey destroyed our sofa bed!!!
Make sure they have plenty to chew on, and also look to their general levels of stimulation, as chewing can also be caused by boredom....
