Title: Hello!
Post by: SammyB on February 03, 2004, 05:05:12 PM
Hello!  I'm new here and whilst I don't have a cocker at the moment I grew up with a gorgeous orange and white one called Sunny!  He joined our family when I was two and he very sadly passed away when he was fifteen years old eight and a half years ago now.  He was a wonderful dog, so kind and gentle and I'll always miss him.

I would dearly love a dog, although I work full time at the moment so it's not really possible.  If my husband starts working from home though, which might be possible soon (he's communting for about four hours a day at the moment) then we will certainly love a dog to join our little family and it will have to be a cocker!

Sunny's pedigree name was Sunglint of Haradwaithe and I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this name or knows of any other Haradwaithe's?

Anyway, it's great to find such a  lovely forum, and I hope I'll be able to join in in some of your discussions properly if and when I get my own cocker!

Sorry for rambling!

Thanks for all the welcomes!  This is such a lovely site and all your pictures in your gallery are gorgeous!!  It's so good to see many lovely cocker faces again!  I think I might do that search for Haradwaithe and see if I can find any of Sunny's relatives.  I shall certainly be joining in here and I hope I'll be able to ask your advice when the time comes for me to be able to have another cocker.

Thanks,

Sam x

Welcome to the forum Sam   I havent heard of any Haradwaithes myself, but there's bound to be someone on here familiar with them (usually Jane   ). I hope your time for re-joining the joys of owning a cocker comes soon.
