Hi Everyone, I'm new

Hello Everyone,

I am so glad I found this site, I have been reading this site as a guest for a while and have really enjoyed reading the posts and all the lovely cocker pictures.  I am delighted to be getting a gorgeous cocker puppy in about 5 weeks time so I thought I would join and share cocker stories, photo's etc with you all.

This will be my first cocker spaniel, my previous dog was a beautiful Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Sam who passed away in January this year at 14 years and 8 months old (I had him since he was 13 weeks old).  He was a fantastic member of the family.

I am now getting ready for the arrival of my cocker puppy which is really exciting.  I went to visit him when he was just 9 nine days old and am going back in a couple of weeks to visit him again.  I can't wait.

I have got a couple of photo's of him with his littermates but haven't worked out how to post them on here yet.  I will take some more photo's when I go back.

welcome Louise I am new here too. I have been looking at this site also, and joined it only about a week ago. I have a year old puppy called Holly and have found this site very useful too for helping with some of the prolems we have been experiencing with her. I have had a dog previously but this is our first cocker.

Thank you all for your welcomes.  I have found this site very useful.  I think I have finally worked out how to post photo's .  If this link works, there should be a couple of picci's of Bailey, 9 days old. He's the choc/tan getting squished under the other pups and the pup on the right in the other picture.

Hi and welcome - I recently joined COL too and have learnt so much already and I haven't even got my pup yet! Its 9 days till Winston comes home - he's a blue roan and tan. Your little Bailey is a gorgeous colour and no doubt will be as handsome as his mum is beautiful - more piccies please

I spoke to the breeder today and she has told me he's doing well.  I'm going to visit Bailey again next weekend and I'll take some more pics (he will be 4 weeks old by then).  In the mean time,  I've been browsing the web for puppy things - beds, snuggle puppy's, play pens, toys.......there is so much out there!

Hi Lou.

Welcome to COL, I'm new too. We pick up our baby boy, Spot, on the 19th of November.

With reagrds to picking out stuff for the new arrival; I've found myself hiding when the postman comes...... my poor credit card hasn't known what hit it (and nor does my OH yet either....... if anybody needs me I'll be hiding in the downstairs cupboard!).
