rescued cocker
« on: August 11, 2007, 12:51:43 PM »
Hi am new to this site and just want to say what a fab site this is .We rescued our orange roan cocker , murphy ,from a domestic violence situation and to say he's fab is an understatement!!We have always had terriers in the past so we didnt know what to expect . Apart from the odd chewing of my shoes , mobile phone , brand new hairdrier etc he's been no bother and has settled in well .We got him when he was 7 months old and have had him 8 months now and love him to bits!!Although he is still a bit mad he really is starting to come into his own with his training .

I bet Murphy can't believe his luck. They are very sensitive little dogs, I'm sure he is coming on leaps and bounds now he is somewhere more settled. When you get chance try to post a pic so we can all drool over him.  I have a lemon roan working cocker called Lilly who the worse thing she has chewed so far has been 6 library books that cost me £30 to replace, I wouldn't of minded that much but they were next to a pile of books I had got from a charity shop which had cost me a couple of quid...I think she must have expensive taste. :005:

Hi and welcome to COL  :D

I have 3 working cockers, Alfie is 18 months and blue roan, Tilly is 2 and a half and is solid liver and my rescue girl  :luv:  and Rodaidh is almost 8 months and is golden. They keep me busy!  :005:

Murphy sounds lovely, there is nothing like having a rescue dog and giving them a chance of a new life, I wouldn't change Tilly for the world  :luv:
