A big hello
« on: April 28, 2009, 02:48:36 PM »
Hi

Found this site today while "googling" for puppy advice! We picked up our gorgeous Blue Roan puppy a week ago - he's just over nine weeks now and is certainly trying his best to give us the run around!!  :lol2:

Had older rescue cockers for years, but having lost our last one at Christmas we have taken the plunge with our first puppy - it will be great to know that he's just normal - as he is deffo a handful!!

Welcome to COL and congratulations on the arrival of your puppy :D

My girl Brodie is a liver roan show type who is now one - she used to be a little terror at that age - especially with her mouthing but she’s calmed down now (mostly :shades:) and has turned into a lovely wee dog :luv:.  Most of us have been where you are now so you’ll find plenty of advice to help you with any ‘teething’ (pun intended :005:) problems you have :D

Thank you for you lovely welcomes - i have taken loads of pics (as you can imagine) so when i've worked out how to post some I will!

He's called Eddie by the way and despite his (seemingly) constant 'bundling', biting and whining I think he's adorable - roll on the end of May when he can finally leave the house for a good walk!

Hello. We have an orange roan boy, Morgan, who is just over 10 months old now but still has his (very) naughty moments at times! Puppies are hard work but well worth it.

Welcome!

Yep, puppies are complete gits and very painful to own. I've had 2 pups now and one difficult rescue but I've decided no more pups now, I'll only ever rehome dogs in the future - whatever issues they have :005:

Pups are quite sweet though and it's lovely to see pics of other peoples :005:

Hang in there, it does get better ;)
