Just wanted to say Hello

I have had cockers most of my life.  We've had a break for a few years with work commitments taking us abroad but are desparate to bring a new dog into our life and for our son to grow up with a dog in our family.

There seems to be a lack of rescue cockers in Scotland (good thing) but bad for us as we've been waiting for several months but I know he or she is out there just waiting for us.

Fingers crossed it won't be too long.

I will enjoy reading the boards over the coming days and getting to know some of you.

I have 3 cockers (2 rescue ones) and I am from Fife. 

Which part of Scotland are you from?  Have you contacted Cocker Rescue Scotland?  They tend to not advertise their rescues as they generally have homes waiting from people who have contacted them.  I could pm you one of the coordinators numbers if you havent already got it

Hello, that is very kind of you.  I am in touch with Rita Williams, Cath Mason and Wilma Reid so they know we are ready, willing and able.  You are very kind to offer though!  We were also in touch with second chance but our son is too young and we found them a bit rude but I suppose they have to be tough in their game.
