Sorry for not updating, it's been a manic day....
Toby was found safe last night by a lovely lady who spotted him curled up in a ball in her neighbours garden. He had escaped from my mums house, I had gone away for the night with my husband. We had just sat down for a meal when she rang. By the time we got to where he was last seen, it was dark. We searched for a few hours, by this time is was 1130pm, heavy rain and really windy so we had to call it a night.
I took hubby to work at 7am as he couldn't get out of it and headed back to keep looking. I searched around where we had looked last night and knocked at a few farm houses but there was no sign
by this time it was 915 so I thought about ringin round the local vets. First vet I rang, said a lady had been in touch and she had him! I got to her house as fast as I could, an there he was! He had some really nasty scratches around his boy bits and a deep gash down his leg. I got him to my vets as soon as I could, who told me he needed an operation to make sure there was no damage and to clean and stitch it all. They initially thought he had snapped his Achilles' tendon but everything is ok inside.
So now, he's sat curled up on my knee with his big lampshade on and huffing for England!
