Working cocker missing in Edinburgh
« on: March 05, 2009, 07:56:49 PM »
Got a call tonight from my mechanic who breeds working cockers. A pup he bred went missing from his owners home earlier in Feb and still hasnt been found. Pic and story here:

Bailey is on DogLost and there are posters in the local area.  :-\

Mum to cockers Lily, Lance and Krumble and lurchers Arwen and Lyra. Hooman sister to Pepper, 13.

I couldn't find him on DogLost either Jo; perhaps the owners haven't understood that there was a specific website called that?

There is still a lost notice in the local paper here every night  :'(  Saying that, I was in the area, earlier on in the week, where he was last sighted, and saw no posters or anything.

Update- Bailey has been spotted several times in the Fairmilehead/Buckstone/Craiglockhart area the latest of which was Tuesday. Always at dusk or dawn so looks like he's gone feral. Told my friend who was his breeder to get him posted on doglost!

perhaps someone is feeding him so although hes a stray hes not starving. maybe get a humane trap and leave it there baited with dog food or the owners jacket. sometimes they will lie down on clothing left behind by the owner and wait for them to come back. I hope hes safe.
