Now on Dog Lost

http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=35859

She had been hit by a car and was taken to a local vet (doesn't say anything on Dog Lost about her injuries or how she is). She's microchipped with her breeder's details and her name is Mollie.

She did not appear to have broken legs, but she was in pain when the vet lifted her.  The vet said she may have broken her pelvis, but he was not worried about this, he wanted to wait until she was calmer and was going to X-Ray her to check for internal injuries.

We left her at the vet who gave her a strong pain killer and she had already started to settle down within 30 minutes of being hit (the vet came out when we rang on New Year's Day and arrived before we got there so she couldn't have been treated quicker if we tried).  The vet said he'll phone us in a couple of days, so we'll update this post when we know more (as we live in Colchester).

What a shock for you....it must have been quite distressing at the time, you are obviously dog lovers yourselves, you may have saved the little ladies life.....I do hope the vet can trace her owners  :luv: :luv:

Great News!!!

The owners were reunited with this dog today and amazingly the dog has just suffered very bad bruising, so lovely end to this post. :-)

Brilliant news Neil ........we live in York and know that route on the A19 well.  In fact we live on the A19 at the other side of York, if anything ever happened like that to any of my three I hope someone like you would be passing.  I love a happy ending  :luv:

Happy New year to you and your family
