Title: Attack of the fishies
Post by: Digger on November 14, 2018, 10:49:57 PM
Ahhh...Inca's asleep so I can quietly ask the embarrassing question.

Not had a female dog before..anyone else got one that occasionally smells really fishy..?!

Quiet replies please, she's very sensitive  :005: :005: :005:

Sounds delightful !

She could possibly have a urine or lip fold infection, or it could be her Anal glands, they can cause that smell,

Any other symptoms ?

*Whispering* - it could be her anal glands. Has she had them checked?

No- no other symptoms- fit as a naughty cocker!
She just gets this smell every now and then and then it goes again. She did have anal gland emptied before- maybe it is that. Got annual check next week so will ask vet then.
Thank you!

Sounds like anal glands to me.
