Title: Cofused about choices?
Post by: cdpops on June 14, 2010, 08:02:38 PM
Hi
I very much want a new camera. I am looking at high performance compacts eg panasonic TZ10 and bridge cameras eg panasonic fz38.
I want a camera for snaps of my pets, scenery shots, and family pictures, I want one that takes clear pictures in doors and out, and that is fairly easy to operate.
Does anybody have any suggestions
Ta
Claire

Hi Claire, I bought the panasonic FZ38  back in January & although I'm still learning it's capabilities I'm having great fun with this camera. Originally I was looking at getting a DSLR but I got some excellent advice from the camera shop I went to. I soon realised, after buying the FZ that a DSLR would have been far too complicated/advanced for me & am really pleased with this one. I was shown 2 others at the time & all 3 did much the same but the FZ had a better zoom than the others & a rechargable battery (back in January- newer models may be on the market now though   :shades:  ) I wanted it for the same reasons as you & here's just a couple of my efforts (complete amature  :005: )

this is what I would love to capture more...movement  (but may have to wait until I eventually get a DSLR )
