Oh Sheryl, I'm so sorry for both you and poor Lyla. The wait will be worth it in the end and that's the things to focus on, even though I'm sure your nerves must be in tatters. Sending lots of love and  :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:

Well she had a really rough night. Although her injections worked enough for her to eat later on, she was very restless during the night. I never thought to give her some Metacam but I will tonight. It's so heartbreaking seeing her so different from her usual self. :-\

Just sending Lyla a very very gentle cocker cuddle. I hope she has a better night tonight and the metacam helps.

Sending you a :bigarmhug: too .

Still not herself but she slept all night after having her Metacam. It must have taken the pain away at least. She still didn't eat all her breakfast which is out of character but she is back to the vets tomorrow so we will see how her wee bum is and she can have her next antibiotics.

Thank you for thinking of her

Ahhh bless her, fingers and  paws crossed that the vet says she is healing well tomorrow. I know how stressing it is when a "babies" are not well. I'll keep her in my thoughts :)

Vets at 11.30am. Fingers crossed the injections are managing to do what the tablets couldn't and that we are on course for the op on Wednesday! :-\

So far so good. Apparently the injection she had on Tuesday was Betamox and it seems to be working. She had a tiny bit of infection there but only a bit and her glands weren't full. She had another injection today and I see Laurie on Monday for a last injection....then op on Wednesday.

I feel bad but I told Laurie today that if Scott got called away or was sick and couldn't do the op then they are to call me and I will come and get Lyla. I trust Laurie and Laurie trusts Scott. I will feel bad for Lyla but I have to trust the person caring for my girls.

That sounds totally neurotic! :-\

Glad she's feeling a bit better  :luv: I agree with you only wanting Laurie and Scott to do the operation, we get used to them and trust them. I would only want Paul my vet to do anything on Blue I've been seeing him for 20 years and he's the one I trust to do the best.
Keep fingers crossed all goes well for Wednesday, poor Lyla has been through so much   :luv: :luv:
