So sorry to hear that you're having to think about making the decision already - it's heartbreaking - you have to decide how much he is suffering - if he is, better have fond memories of him on his birthday knowing he is pain free than prolonging it and seeing him in pain.

You could still do something on his birthday, just maybe not what you have planned now  :'(

he is booked in at the vets at 5;15 tonight, we rang and they asked us when we want it doing they said better sooner rather than later because will just keep putting it off which i know i will god knows how i am going to deal will this at least though he wount be suffering anymore, got to go now i feel abit sick never been through this before not sure what to expect, i wont be going in the room i wont be able to handle that

Oh lass, I am breaking my heart for you.  I can't say or do anything that will ease your pain.  I know how hard it will be for you and I wish you didn't have to go through it.  I didn't want to be in the room with Chloe either but I went in the end.  It is amazing how you find the strength when you need it.  Please know I am thinking of you :'(
